=== Rules === [[File:RWC 2004 Match Map.jpg|left|thumb|The RWC 2004 arena map used for qualifying matches on jRO and kRO.]] 24 guilds participated in each world (Loki, Sara, etc.) and selected from between 9 and 11 members, with only 9 members being allowed to participate in a match at one time. Alliances between guilds was not allowed, risking disqualification. The use of skills "Teleport", "Warp Portal", and "Play Dead" were prohibited, and use of Dead Branches was also prohibited. Anyone who disconnected during the match was returned to their previous save point and not the battle map A temporary map (referred to as the "gathering map") was created at the time for these matches to occur within, and each guild had to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled time to ensure everyone was ready. The matches themselves had a 5 minute time limit, and in the finals the time limit was 10 minutes with 10 minutes overtime. In the event of the time limit elapsing without a clear winner, then the winner was determined by the guild with the highest guild level, and failing that if both guilds had the same level, the guild with the highest amount of guild experience.
