The Vita500 Big Event was an event held on Korean Ragnarok Online (kRO) between 6 July 2004 and 3 August 2004 as a joint marketing event between KwangDong Pharmaceuticals Corporation, the manufacturer of the Vita500 Vitamin C drink and Gravity Corporation. The event was started as a joint venture between the two after the pharmaceutical company wanted to expand its reach to the target market that the Ragnarok Online game provided - namely teenagers and those in their 20s[1][2].

- Presumably gives some information about the Vita500 product outside of Ragnarok Online.
- Outlines which monsters allow drops for the
Vita500 Cap (also included in the news item). - Allows the player to trade in 500 x Vita500 Cap items to be included in the competition for the physical prizes (laptops, mice, gift vouchers, etc).
- Allows the player to trade in 25 x Vita500 Cap for 5 x
Vita500 Bottle. - The event was repeatable.
- Adds the vendor NPC "Ron" to Morocc:
- Sells Vita500 Bottle (Price not mentioned).

The event also included a quiz which was included on the Korean Ragnarok website and KwangDong Pharmaceuticals' website.[2] The "quiz" consisted of 1 question provided on the promotional poster:
"What is the name of the potion you can receive when you give the vitamin-containing potion bottle cap to [Rich] of Prontera?"[3]
The clue to this exceedingly difficult question provided within the promotional poster:
"One Event! Take a close look - it's good for your body, tastes good, has vitamins, but doesn't have caffeine".[3]
