Episode 1: Comodo is an episode of Ragnarok Online which introduces a new area, Comodo -- "the city of gambling".
Backstory[edit | edit source]
Not much backstory is provided for this episode beyond the fact that Comodo is located at the sourthernmost-tip of the Rune Midgarts Kingdom, as a haven for gambling outside of the Rune-Midgarts Kingdom and nearby cave replete with ferocious monsters.[1]
"The City of Gambling", as it is so perfunctorily named, is the only city where gambling is permitted, and boasts of a hula dance stage, allowing adventurers to train to become a Dancer. It does not state whether or not hula dancing was also banned in the Rune Midgarts Kingdom. [1]
