Signing up requires approval due to spambots (temporary)
Currently we have an issue with spambots hitting the site every time the signups are made open. If you would like to contribute, please continue to sign up for an account and we will manually review it. This will be changing in the near-future, but for now please sign up and then join our discord to ask to be approved or wait for us to approve you manually!
Adding content & sources
If you are considering making new content please consider:
- The source of the information - if it's something you've just seen in-game that's fine, but please include which game you got it from.
- Whether the source is primary or just reporting what someone else said - Try to find the root source for the thing you found. If it's in game or from an official RO website that's fine, but if not try to find who said it first. This helps us maintain a wiki that is well-referenced and gives good information to the public.
- Emulators and copyrighted information - Where possible, we need to reference who owns the given image. If it's Gravity, try to reference where you got it from. In terms of emulators, we welcome additions of source code and other information as this is valuable to documenting their origins and development history.
- Make sure to archive pages - If you have a page from an existing website, it is very likely in the future the link may change. When you are adding in content, please reference where you got it from and then archive it using a site like archive.is or archive.org.
AI-generated content
AI-generated content is fine so long as in any content which is generated, all sources used to generate that content are cited and that the article itself notes that the content is AI generated. This is just to try and make it clear which content may potentially have errors and pitfalls associated with it. If the sources are not cited, this makes attribution impossible, and attribution is necessary.
