Academy Secret Story
Academy Secret Story was the name of a serialised story provided by the Japanese Ragnarok Online (jRO) server which also had a related event which was also referenced in the serialised story[1]. According to the original jRO page, this story is a sequel to another story, Monster Side Stories.
Summary
The main characters, including Doyle, Hans, Ellen, Lilia, Yuri, Mid, Rune, and Motomia, are all connected through their experiences at the Adventurer Academy. Rosa, a classmate of Doyle, Hans, and Ellen, is determined to find her missing friends. Jioma, a mysterious figure with magical powers, has been causing trouble at the academy.
He's revealed to be a younger version of Evilo, who was researching the swirling black stones to cure his sister Pieris' illness. The story jumps back in time to show Evilo's past and his interactions with the main characters. This includes Lilia recovering from her injuries, Yuri's father appearing, and a cure for Pieris' illness being completed.
However, things take a dark turn when Pieris collapses and passes away, leaving Evilo heartbroken and hurt by the cruel slander he receives from the villagers. The story builds to a final confrontation with Jioma, who has become consumed by the power of the black swirling stone. The characters work together to find a way to neutralize Jioma's powers and thwart his ambitions.

The Adventurer Academy is an institution that trains adventurers and attracts many adventurers. On the surface, the Adventurer Academy appears to be bustling, but it seems to have some secrets. Is it a small secret? Or maybe it's a bigger secret than you can imagine. This Academy Secret Story uncovers the secrets of the Adventurer Academy. It's up to you to unravel this secret. When all the mysteries are solved, something wonderful may happen to you.
Episode 1: "Tokino Hazama" - Prologue
At the Adventurer Academy, there are ghost stories that have been passed down from senior students to junior students for generations. The students call these the Academy's legends. That day, Miriam stayed behind in the library, studying hard for her next exam. All of a sudden, she heard a woman's voice. Curious, Miriam looks around. ...Huh? There's no one there.
Miriam realizes that there was no one there when she entered the library, and no one has come in since. Suddenly, Miriam looks up and sees a woman standing there. Her body is transparent, and she can faintly see the bookshelf on the other side of the woman. Miriam screams and runs away.
One of the legends of the Academy goes like this. "The Adventurer Academy has a secret laboratory where secret magical experiments are conducted. Every year, one student is kidnapped and goes missing to be used as a test subject. The ghost of that student appears every night." The story progresses by talking to Lilia at the entrance (coordinates 90,23).
Episode 1 "Tokino Hazama" - Epilogue
The ghost that appeared in the library was named Ellen. In the library is a very old book whose title has disappeared. When the torn seventh page of the book is opened, Ellen appears. Eren tells them that time has stopped since "that time" and that he is now in this place. He tells them that the Adventurer Academy holds a big secret, and asks them to go to a room in Glast Heim, before disappearing.
She heads to Glast Heim with Lilia and Yuri. Lilia is excited and drags the reluctant Yuri along with her to Glast Heim. When they went to the room in Glast Heim that Eren had mentioned, they found a "stone" enshrined there. When Lilia picked up the stone, something like smoke erupted from it, and a horde of monsters she had never seen before appeared.
They were pushed into a dire situation, but as soon as they destroyed the "stone," the monsters vanished as if they had never been there. After returning to the Adventurer's Academy, the three of them - Lilia, Yuri and I - pondered while looking at the fragments of the "stone" we had brought back. Who made this stone that creates monsters, and why? Was it made by someone related to the Adventurer's Academy? Why is Eren frozen in time in the library?
And this Adventurer's Academy. Eren said that there was a big secret, but if you think about it, when did this Adventurer's Academy start, who founded it, and where is it located? Episode 2: "The Academy Director's Secret" - Prologue
After being told by Eren, they head to Glast Heim where they find a stone. Together with Lilia and Yuri, they decide to investigate the stone. To examine the stone, they head to the laboratory that Yuri often uses. Meanwhile, Lilia is curious about the third floor, which is off-limits to regular students, so she stays behind and begins to investigate the Adventurer Academy. The secrets of the Adventurer Academy are now revealed... The story progresses by talking to Lilia at the entrance (coordinates 90,23).
Episode 3 "Each Person's Feelings" - Prologue
The secret of the Adventurer Academy is finally revealed. It turns out that the Academy was established as an experimental facility to fulfill the ambitions of a man named Jioma. The head of the Academy, Hans, Mid and Rune, challenge Jioma to a fight but are defeated. Hans is missing, and Mid and Rune have been manipulated and become Jioma's minions.
During the investigation, Lilia and Yuri are discovered by the enemy and are transformed into different people. Meanwhile, Eren, trapped in the time rift, is in danger of being annihilated. There are people who need to be saved. Among them, he meets the examiners of the academy, including Professor Pollin. And a young man named Doyle, who was torn away from his friends by Jioma in the past. Together, we will rescue everyone...!
The story progresses by talking to Professor Porin in the staff room on the third floor of the academy (coordinates 26,122).
Episode 3 "Each Person's Feelings" -Epilogue
Petula, Caraway, and Shava, whom he met through Yuri, belong to an organization that opposes Jioma. He cooperates with them at Petula's request. Caraway is determined to break into the Adventurer Academy to rescue Yuri and Lilia, but doing so will cause a big fuss... At that moment, Doyle appears.
Doyle can use disappearing magic, and the two of them decide to break into the Academy. When they break into the basement of the academy, they are confronted by the academy director Hans, who has transformed into a monster! Doyle is injured by Hans' attack. With Caraway's help, they create a device to immobilize Hans and head to the basement of the Academy to rescue him again.
They successfully separate Hans' consciousness from the monster and rescue him. With the help of Hans, who had been captured, they are able to rescue Yuri and Lilia. Then, with Doyle's help, they convince Well and Motomiah, who had been disguised as Yuri and Lilia, to join them, and they succeed in returning Mid and Rune, who had been controlled by them, to their original state.
All that remains is to rescue Eren, who is trapped in the time gap. At that time, information is received that Jioma has appeared at the Academy, and Yuri, hearing it, is so angry that he goes to Jioma! He rushes after him, but it is too late, and Lilia is seriously injured while protecting Yuri. Hans comforts the depressed Yuri. Doyle and Hans joined forces to rescue Ellen from the gap in time. When the three of them - Doyle, Hans, and Ellen - gathered together, they were called by a strong desire. It was Rosa.
Rosa had hoped to meet the three of them until the very end. The three could not hide their sadness at their brief reunion and then their parting. But Doyle said, "Let's put an end to this sadness." Together with many companions, research began on how to eliminate Jioma's magical powers.
Final episode "Hand in Hand" - Prologue
Together with Doyle, he infiltrates the basement of the Adventurer Academy and succeeds in rescuing the academy's director, Hans. He also rescues Lilia, Yuri, Mid, and Rune, and persuades Well and Motomiar, who were subordinates of Jioma, to join him. Furthermore, with the help of Doyle and Hans, he is finally able to rescue Ellen, who was trapped in the time rift.
However, Lilia is seriously injured while protecting Yuri from Jioma, and Doyle, Hans and Ellen are hit with the fact that their classmate Rosa is already a thing of the past. But there is no time to be sad. Work with Doyle and the others to find a way to neutralize Jioma's magical powers and thwart his ambitions! The time for the final battle is approaching...!
The story progresses by talking to Doyle, who is in the organization that can be accessed from Petula in Aldebaran (coordinates 89,235).
Rosa left behind research materials on the swirling black stones. In order to meet the young man who wrote them, Evilo, he travels back in time. Evilo was researching the swirling black stones in order to cure his sister Pieris' illness. And just like Doyle, he also dreamed of a world where humans and monsters could coexist without fighting.
However, everyone around him was cold towards him, except for his lover, Fonia. As Evilo continues to interact with him, Lilia recovers, Yuri's father, who was thought to be dead, appears, and a cure for Pieris' illness is completed; things seem to be going in a good direction... but it's too late, Pieris collapses and passes away.
Evilo is also hurt by the cruel slander he receives from the villagers, but he still believes that his wish will come true someday, so he entrusts the completed research book and Pieris' amulet to us, and leaves on a journey, promising his lover, Fonia, that he will "definitely return." Not as Jioma-Evilo, who bears the Evilo family name, but simply as Jioma.
The fact that Evilo was a younger version of Jioma deeply upsets the group. Doyle wants to help Jioma. Shava, who had lost someone dear to her, resists, but Petula persuades them and they are able to reconcile through a conversation with Doyle. When the research was completed, Jioma appeared at the Adventurer's Academy, and Motomia, Rune, and Mid, who opposed him, were defeated.
Motomia announced that the Adventurer's Academy was in danger of disappearing. On the way to the basement of the academy to stop Jioma, Mikken, who had kept his promise to Pieris and was by Jioma's side, stood in his way.
Mikken said that Jioma had been consumed by the power of the black swirling stone. When they confronted Jioma, Pieris's amulet glowed, and the power of the black, swirling stone that had been nesting within Jioma transformed into a monster and appeared. Although they were initially frightened by its sinister appearance, they were able to escape the predicament with the help of Jioma, whose memories had returned.
Together with Doyle, the others, and Jioma, they defeated the monster...!
