Ragnarok Real World Experience (Ragnarok Event)
Ragnarok Real World Experience was the name of an Augmented Reality exhibition which was held between January 6th and April 21st, 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand, in the CentralWorld complex. It was ran by Thai event management country Index Creative Village PLC, in conjunction with anime-licensing company DreamExpress (DEX) and Gravity Corporation.
The event
The event allowed people to visit various areas from the Ragnarok Online game including Prontera, Izlude, Payon, Geffen, Morroc, Alberta, and boss dungeons, as well as an area referred to as "FINAL LEVEL 99", with 14 areas available to visitors in total. [1] [2] [3] According to the event venue, players engaged in several activities in the event, and those which had in-game characters over level 200 would receive in-game items. There were two items introduced with the event: "Realworld Coin" and "RealWorld Garment Enchant Ticket". [2][4]
Players that participated in the events in the Real World Experience were given 50 Realworld Coin upon completing the experience.[4]
